rad

yea dude this is a cool little track. the sounds are great. one thing i would do to this track is maybe make a break in the song and change the bass line up a bit. you change the melody up but its the same duh uh duh uh duh uh. let the bass line have a chance to shine.

Redse7en responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed this song of mine! I fully understand what you mean and will keep it in mind while I work on my next projects. I just want to say thanks for pointing this out because the more people critique me the more I can build with my music.

not that impressed

you have good sounds but its like the some dit ah did dit ah did dit ah did. you use like two pitchs and the song goes no where. the mixing is good but like i said this track doesnt go anywhere.

Twistedtechnology responds:

Lol fair enough. Its true, the song really doesnt go anywhere, and im surprised really that people still like it. Now a days i try to change my stuff up a good bit.

Thanks for leavin an honest review....its hard to find those these days..

not feelin it

the sounds and everything are great, but your melody is just not that great to be played over and over and over and over and over again. the mixing is good. i would make an 8 bar lick and then another 16 bar lick like you got here. that would give you more to mix with.

Envy responds:

Yeah, most of my songs now are 80% effects and mixing XD. I will admit this isnt one of my best, but i was trying something new!

BTW I may not be submitting anything for a little bit, cause im working on making Raves... But dont tell anyone!
I guess you could say I'm training in my Dojo to become a better artist.

yea

this is a damn good first submission to ng. i'd turn up the leads on this tho. percussions alright. sounds are decent. bass line is there. good ideas here.

Drakkin responds:

thanks, and actually the leads were louder when I made it, but for some reason it almost seemed like when I converted it to 128kbps, for filesize purposes, the leads got put into the background for some reason.. it happened again with a smaller WIP I have when I converted it as well.. sounded fine in editing and in 193kbps

awww

its nice to see a female artist on ng. Suprisingly you have some pretty hard industrial sounds on here. im not really feelin this track tho. the percussion sounds arent that great. this doesnt flow very well from one part to the next. the melody isnt really all there. when i think of techno every track has that 16 bar lick that just makes you bounce inside. no bass line really either. better luck next time.

KittenLoveX responds:

thanks for review

its alright

i would say you need some drum fills in this track. overall its kind of weak. the reeverb is alright but ur melodies and stuff just aren't all that great. the breaks are also very boring. one thing i did like was the piano u use. the intro is good but the rest of the track didnt go anywhere.

TheAmateurAnimator responds:

Personally, I was proud of my drum work, but I'll take your opinion into consideration.

eek

your age just screams out in this one...particularly in the percusion. its not good/catchy at all. we might have to ideas of techno. sorry man. this could use some base lines, 2 & 4, organization, better mixing, and maybe a consistent melody.

Triented responds:

Oh and on the last review, it isn't a video game track, its a music story...

ummmm

i think a lot of the younger artist on NG are lacking in the melody department of making music. This sounds like you just improvised all your loops and was like ok that'll do. i think you should listen to stuff like Tune Up, or ATB and maybe you could steal some shit from them. If your guna make a video game track put it in the video game genre.

Triented responds:

Nope i don't use .wav .mp3 or any file for my music.
I don't even use fruity loops.
cuz it's gay. I use buzz, you have a master synth and you create a new synth and connect it either through an effect to the master or straight through the master, then you can either choose a preset and be lazy, or customize the damn synth for yourself.
:P
Thanks for the review....

not diggin it

i can stand some loops that are simple, but this is just really generic. im not feelin this one at all.

Triented responds:

Wow i can't belive im still getting review of my third ever song! :O
